This is a telecommunications company based in Espoo, Helsinki. Fredrik Idestam, Leo Michelin and Eduard Polon who were the co-founders established it in 1865. In over the 150 years of its existence it has been associated with several industries.

Initially, it focused mainly on rubber and cables, as it was a pulp mill. However, in the early 1990s it moved full throttle on telecommunications infrastructure, developing technologies and licensing.
